Severe precipitations and Traffic suspension
The severe precipitations that hit most of Bosnia and Herzegovina caused problems and difficulties to traffic along the main road network in FBiH.
On the main road Konjic - Jablanica - Mostar, as well as on the road Jablanica - Prozor and Jablanica - Blidinje, there were numerous landslides, rockfalls and flash floods, which resulted in traffic suspension. Alternative routes (Sarajevo - Mostar) during this suspension are: Sarajevo - Novi Travnik - Rostovo - Bugojno - Kupres - Tomislavgrad - Posušje - Mostar or Sarajevo - Foča - Tjentište - Gacko - Mostar.
Due to water spilling onto the pavement, followed with flash floods and landslides, traffic was also suspended on the roads Busovača - Kiseljak, Kiseljak - Kreševo and at the entrance to Kiseljak (from the direction of Sarajevo). Given the large amount of water on the pavement, only HGV are admitted on the road Busovača - Kiseljak.
JP Ceste FBiH appeals to drivers to act with maximum caution and to adapt the driving to the current road conditions.
