JP Ceste FBiH supports the continuation of the construction works on the South Longitudinal Sarajevo

Director of JP Ceste FBIH Ljubo Pravdić and Director of the Roads Directorate of the Sarajevo Canton Selmir Kovač signed an Agreement on co-financing the continuation of the construction of a part of the South Longitudinal, one of the most important transport projects in the Sarajevo Canton.

The signing of the Agreement was also attended by the executive directors of JP Ceste FBIH Luka Raguž and Ademir Toromanović and the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Sarajevo Canton Adnan Šteta.

The South Longitudinal is an important infrastructure project that will connect Skenderija and Mojmilo, and works are currently being carried out on the section through the Grbavica settlement. Its construction will contribute to the improvement of traffic connectivity and better functioning of traffic in the Canton.

For the continuation of the implementation of this project, JP Ceste FBIH has secured financial resources in the amount of BAM 700.000, thus confirming its commitment to supporting projects of importance for the development of road infrastructure in the territory of the aforementioned canton and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The implementation of such infrastructure projects requires coordinated action and cooperation between different government levels and respective institutions, where the signed Agreement is another example of successful cooperation aimed at improving road infrastructure and creating better conditions for all traffic users.
