Contract for the continuation of works on the rehabilitation of the main road M17.5, section Jablanica - Blidinje
Contract for the continuation of works on the rehabilitation of the damaged section of the main road M17.5, section Jablanica - Blidinje, subsection Jablanica - Kosne Luke was signed today at the business premises of FBH Roads.
The contract was signed by the director of the FBH Roads, Ljubo Pravdić, and a representative of JV consisting of Struktura d.o.o. Jajce and Zvornikputevi d.o.o. Zvornik.
The Contract value is BAM 2.941.380, 00 including VAT, and the completion period is 180 calendar days, counting from the commencement date.
The funds for the implementation of this project were provided based on the Decision of the FBH Government dated 07.10.2025 on the allocation of financial resources determined by the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2025 from the item "Transfers to other government authorities and funds - Financial support to cities and municipalities for the rehabilitation of damage caused by floods", which enabled the continuation of the rehabilitation of the section that suffered significant damage during the floods in October 2024.
The contracted works include preparatory works, earthworks and foundations, works on the pavement structure, drainage, reinforced concrete works, installation of traffic equipment and signalling, rehabilitation of the Sovići slab culvert, as well as the other works necessary for the complete reconstruction and rehabilitation of the subject section.
This project is a continuation of the activities on the reconstruction of the main road M17.5 with the aim of establishing safe and uninterrupted traffic between Jablanica and Blidinje. The rehabilitation of damaged roads sections will improve the safety of all road users, increase the reliability of road infrastructure and create better conditions for the local population, economy and tourism development in this area.
