Commencement of Works on the 12th Transversal Road
After obtaining all the necessary construction approvals and permits, construction work officially began today on the 12th Transversal Road, section Stupska petlja - Sarajevo International Airport, sub-section P61 (at the km 1+200) - P80 (km 1+580).
Earthworks that include excavations and construction of the embankments along the new road section, connection to Aleja Bosne Srebrne Street, are currently ongoing.
Contract for Works was concluded on 12 October 2025 with the Contractor JV Euro-Asfalt d.o.o. and Demus d.o.o. Sarajevo. The value of the contracted works is BAM 6.418.831, 43 with VAT included.
Construction supervision will be carried out by the JV RADIS d.o.o. Istočno Sarajevo, MIDES d.o.o. Banja Luka and PROJECT BIRO UTIBER d.o.o. Novi Sad. The value of the supervision contract is BAM 69.733,56 with VAT included.
