Suspension of traffic on the main road M5_016: Azize Šaćirbegović – Korija – Ljubogošta
Early this morning, FBH Roads was alerted by the routine maintenance contractor about the potential landslide above the main road M5, section 016: Azize Šaćirbegović - Korija - Ljubogošta, "Trčivode” site.
Based on the site visit, it was determined that due to the appearance of a large amount of water over part of the slope, the concrete protective gabions moved.
With the assistance of the routine maintenance contractor, FBH Roads immediately began urgent rehabilitation of the damage, in order to avoid more serious consequences.
It was concluded that this situation cause direct danger to the traffic users and therefore, in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior, traffic was suspended on the above section until further notice.
We appeal to all road users to use alternative city carriageways during the rehabilitation works.
